TIENS history – a global brand from the Orient

Tiens Group has always subscribed to the philosophy of ‘serve society by restoring health to mankind’ and actively shoulders its corporate social responsibilities. So far, the Tiens Group has donated more than 1.5 billion yuan to charity and public welfare projects.

In 1995, Mr. Li Jinyuan founded the Tianjin Tianshi Group Co., Ltd. in Tianjin, China. In the same year, the company launched into the international market, since when it has become a global enterprise with interests in many sectors including biotechnology, health management, tourism, education, financial investment and property.

With operations extending to over 190 countries, the Tiens Group has set up divisions in 110 countries and established strategic partnerships with top enterprises.The Tiens Group now has an extensive, innovative and diverse product portfolio including health food, wellness equipment, beauty, skincare and household products. Driven by the vision of ‘Great Health For All’, a key part of the Tiens Group’s development strategy has been to expand the TIENS International Industrial Park and International University to a 4.22 km site at an investment of over RMB 17 billion (2 billion euro).

The Research Institute employs a top team of technicians with extensive work experience. The TIENS Life Science and Technology Research Institute was established to focus on helping to improve world health in line with the ‘Great Health for All’ vision. It was meticulously planned, equipped with cutting edge technology and staffed by elite specialists. It gathers information from industry,

universities and research institutes around the globe to ensure it stays abreast of health sector innovations.

The research institute employs a top team of technicians and doctors. It is equipped with the finest scientific equipment. The research team already worked successfully on national projects such as anti-ageing products and plant-based cleaners.

The research facility covers 6000 m2 and conforms to the highest international standards of pharmaceutical and healthcare laboratory design and construction. It provides an ideal environment for research and scientific projects. Arond RMB 80 million (9 mln euro) was invested in scientific research devices and equipment which has created a state of the art product and technology development facility.

Since the Institute’s construction, the Tiens Group has taken advantage of the on-site high-tech resources and outstanding R&D teams to support and sustain its product innovation and development. The research institute will ensure that the Tiens Group continues its pioneering scientific R&D work into developing healthy products using natural resources that consumers all around the world can enjoy.

The Production Base of TIENS International Health Part is internationally regarded as one of the most advanced in terms of design, energy saving construction and automated production equipment.

In advance of construction, Tiens Group established relations with world leading suppliers like German AZO GmbH&Co. KG, GEA Group, Bosch, the Italian IMA (Industria Macchine Automatiche S.p.A.) and the Swedish NORDEN MACHINERY AB. This high specification automation has enabled Tiens Group to compy with highest international standards and provide platform for global growth.
